Date Retention:
We will retain your personal information in order to fulfill the purposes for which the information was originally collected. Since law firms in the State of Florida have an ongoing obligation to ensure that they represent clients free of conflict, the aforementioned information will be kept until it is no longer permitted by law and/or Downyok & Downyok, P.A. no longer has a legitimate and lawful business purpose to do so.

You must consent to send and receive SMS/text messages, or for us to obtain your phone numbers for the purpose of SMS/text messages, in order for us to communicate with you by SMS/text messages.

Our firm prefers not to send and receive text messages, but understands that some clients prefer to communicate by text messages or may have no other alternative, and so we offer the option to send and receive messages for specific clients on a case by case basis, and usually as a supplement to other forms of communication. Text messages are used solely to communicate with you as a client, one-on-one with one of our attorneys or staff members, and never for the purposes of soliciting you as an advertisement.
Until we have signed a retainer agreement with you, Downyok & Downyok, P.A. and its attorneys do not represent you. However, in any situation where a prospective client approaches a firm for the purposes of seeking legal advice, any information provided in that process is generally protected as privileged information.
